Sometimes no one wants to chat

Hannah sat in front of her computer screen and watched the name disappear from her of list of online ‘buddies’ the second she logged on to chat. It had been like that for the last few weeks. All of a sudden her one constant friend didn’t seem to be speaking to her and she had no clue why. Hannah wasn’t just guessing that was what her friend was doing either, when she’d logged on from work using an alternative screen name, Jessica had stayed online, and yet once more she was vanishing as soon as she arrived. Today was the last straw, quietly fuming she reached for her phone and dialled the number…
